Training to improve walking ability in Parkinson’s disease

A comparison of Robot-assisted gait training versus equal intensity treadmill training in patients with mild to moderate Parkinsons diseaseis preented in Parkinsonism & Related Disorders, 04/02/2013. In the study,  Dr. Picelli A et al from the Neuromotor and Cognitive Rehabilitation Research Center, Department of Neurological, Neuropsychological, Morphological and Movement Sciences, University of Verona, Verona, Italy show that robotic gait training is not superior to equal intensity treadmill training for improving walking ability in patients with mild to moderate Parkinson’s disease.
