Correlation of improvement in quantitative isolated movement parameters and functional outcome scales

Published in Experimental Brain Research, 02/22/2013 Dr. Song et al show a relationship between improvement in isolated movement parameters including velocity and range of movement of the elbow and shoulder and functional improvement measured by Fugl-Meyer shoulder-elbow score in stroke patients undergoing physical and occupational therapy in addition to robot-aided rehabilitation training of elbow joint. Dr. Song and his colleagues work in Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, Guang Dong, People’s Republic of China.
