Writing in Neurosurgery Dr. Awad and his team review Magnetic Stimulation Following Spinal Cord and its potential use in spinal cord injury physical and occupational rehabilitation.  The team found evidence to suggest that TMS is a promising non–invasive tool for the treatment of spasticity, neuropathic pain and somatomotor deficit following Spinal Cord Injury. However, there needs to be more research in order to determine which protocols and application sites for the stimulation induce the most pronounced and beneficial clinical effects. .
