Eat more fruit and vegetables and your stroke risk will go down

Research published in the January edition of Atherosclerosis by Dr. Larsson and her colleagues from National Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden look at total and specific fruit and vegetable consumption and risk of stroke in a cohort of  Swedish women and men. This study shows that consumption of apples and pears and green leafy vegetables was inversely associated with stroke!!!
